Our Modern Holiday Home Tour
Modern Christmas Decorations in the Entry
Our entry is my favourite room to decorate! It was one of the first rooms we completed in our homes, and one of the first feature walls we made.

I added one of my favourite Christmas prints to the entry and love the little mini wreath I hung on top.

I mixed two types of faux greenery to the top of the mirror, and I love how it came together. I kept with this general palette colour palette through the whole home: black, white, & wood!

Modern Christmas Decorations in the Bathroom
I love adding little touches of decor to the bathroom, and thought I’d share the decor we added this year.

I added one of my favourite holiday movie quotes to the letter board (name that movie! lol), and swapped out some of the decor for festive decor.

To the vanity I just added a few fresh branches of pine. It smells good, and so far has lasted for weeks, so I’m hoping it will last until after the holidays!

Modern Christmas Decorations in the Kitchen
Couldn’t enter the kitchen without a holiday letter board quote. This one seemed appropriate for the 2020 holidays, lol.

We always try to keep our kitchen functional, leaving out the things we use every day, and adding some minimal decorations. the garland hung around the window is one of my favourite Christmas decorations in here.

Then there’s the coffee station. There is nothing more fun to decorate then open shelving!

I added some festive holiday prints, a few jars of treats that pair well with coffee, and a couple of simple decorations to the shelves.

Modern Christmas Decorations in the Dining Room
The dining room got a few table decorations, including the black mini trees that I made last year from dollar store supplies!

The brass mirror is brand new and looks AMAZING in this space! The shelf is perfect for adding small decorative bottle brush trees.

We use this table every day, and I have three children, so I needed decor that could easily be moved around, taken off, put back on, or cleaned off! Add a few plates and serving dishes here and you have a beautiful Christmas table setting.

Modern Christmas Decorations in the Living Room
The living room is the heart of our home. Our main Christmas tree is set-up in here, our stockings are hung, and our comfiest throw blankets are out for everyone to use!

This tree is my absolute favourite. White, black, green and wood ornaments everywhere. Simple decorations, simple style, and beautiful design. There are so many handmade ornaments on this tree too, and I love seeing the variety when we pull them out every year.

I’m so happy to share this final space because it’s the first time that you get a look at our brand new stairs! We just finished this renovation, which was one of our longest yet, and I couldn’t be happier with how the stairs look! The whole home feels like it’s coming together finally.

The desk area got a few holiday decorations, but we kept the work surface clean because the kids still like to work and colour here everyday!

Absolutely stunning! It's not just about the Christmas decor, but you have an eye for interior design. I love your minimalistic and modern style. I can't even begin to replicate what you've done, but out of curiosity, where can I find little wooden houses like the ones you have?

I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour! The trees were from a store in Canada called Kitchen Stuff Plus! Not 100% sure if they still have them, but they did do online shipping last year :)
