Did you read about our new Barn House?! We just bought a new home that is full of potential. I’m planning to renovate the entire house, room by room. Last time I tackled rooms in my home, I didn’t have a vision for the entire home in mind. I just did what I wanted in each room and hoped it would all be cohesive. In the end we had a lot of beautiful rooms, but the cohesion wasn’t really there. This time I’ve created a whole home colour palette before I even entered the home. To do that I had to spend a lot of time on Pinterest searching for some paint colour inspiration.
The more I searched the more I knew what I was drawn to. First and foremost: white walls. White walls everywhere. White walls make the home look bright, airy and clean. And if the majority of the walls are white, you can add fun wallpapers and dark colours to feature walls and the space will still look bright.
Second, deep, rich and moody colours. I love the contrast of the dark colours against the bright white walls. Add some warm woods and some shiny metals, and you’re got a perfect recipe for a designer room. Let me share some of the spaces that I searched for and loved!
Here are a few spaces that have really inspired my paint colour palette:
Living rooms, bedrooms, mudrooms, etc. These photos will give you a great idea of how I want to want to use my paint colour palette. Just as a reminder, I’m dreaming of white walls, with a few dark walls (deep green, black, etc.), and a few colourful accents (deep purple and blue).

I really like the colours you've picked! My favourite definitely has to be the purple. :)
