Well… we had two warm-ish days here #northernCanadaliving.
But those two warm days definitely got me in the mood for creating some great new Spring projects! I have a dream to create a woodland felt board for my daughter, and since the trees aren’t that exciting, I decided to start by making these whimsical felt animals. I though a colourful bee, bird, and owl would set the tone for Spring :)
All I used to make these adorable animals were assorted felt colours, assorted embroidery threads, and a sewing needle.
I stitched everything by hand and didn’t worry too much about patterns and even stitches. I love the uneven, unsymmetrical lines and I feel like they are truer to nature. This was the best way to represent that.
Here’s my little bee :)
My colourful birdie
My tired owl :)
I just LOVE how they turned out, and I know my daughter will love playing with them one day too :)
For another great Spring projects, see these Rustic Spring Hearts!
