Texture! In my opinion, it’s the most important design element in a space. Multiple textures add visual interest. Your eyes move from fabric, to leather, to brick, and when textures are balanced well, the eye is happy. One of the easiest way to add texture to a space is through the rugs – it adds dimension to the flooring and defines the space.
