Just wanted to write a quick note wishing everyone out in the blog-o-sphere a happy Hallowe’en!
My (adorable!!!!) little owl got spoiled with books, toys, and candies :)
Well… the candies are for mommy and daddy…. I love every holiday, and Halloween is no exception to that rule! What other holidays do you see children running around and smiling all night? When else do you say hi to all of your neighbours?
We took Ellie trick-or-treating, just to show off her outfit to a few neighbours, a few friends, and some family members. One day she’ll love it as much as I loved it this year!
After I got home, I heard that some friends had given out warm apple cider and hot chocolate to neighbours as they came by with their children. How amazing is that idea?! I really want to do that one year! **fingers crossed I remember saying this**
We went about our usual traditions of pumpkin carving (see the lovely pumpkin family below!) and pumpkin seed roasting (using this method!).
Our little owl stayed flapped her little wings all day long and I loved every minute of it!
Couldn’t have asked for a better first Hallowe’en!
(unless maybe I had found the time to make my own costume too! lol).
Enjoy your leftover candy!

Aww :) it's so fun watching them grow! I can't wait until she's old enough to actually go door to door and ring doorbells herself!
