Living in northern Alberta, Canada means that we get a lot oodles of snow this time of year. We are also lucky to live in a place that gets many, many bright blue skies, even in the winter. I always LOVE those days. Fresh white snow on the ground, bright blue skies, silver frosted tree branches… would make a beautiful combination for a little Winter Vignette, don’t you think?!
I wanted to create a beautiful scene this year that wouldn’t have to come down after the Christmas season ended. I was inspired by nature to make this bright wintery vignette full of blues, whites, and silvers.
These beautiful fluffy Christmas trees were an incredibly easy DIY that I whipped up in about five minutes! I’m sharing the tutorial for these Fleecy Soft Winter Trees over at Clean and Scentsible today. Go check them out!
These simple gold deer were a dollar store score a few years ago. They find a way into my winter decor every year!

All of the greenery on display came from the great outdoors and the pinecones came from my friends’ yard. I just three them into a vintage silver serving tray with a candle and a couple of dollar store ornaments to make a simple, yet stunning, centerpiece.
I hope you liked the design! If you noticed a couple of cute neutral garlands hanging around, stay tuned for that tutorial on the blog later this month!

So pretty Lindi! I love the blue and love that you can keep it off throughout the winter. Enjoy your snow!

Lindi this is so pretty! I love the idea of decor that can be left out after Christmas is over. Because let's be honest, winter doesn't end when December does! I like how simple the centerpiece is, but wow, what a statement! Very pretty. Thanks for sharing!
