Modern Fall Decor: Patterned Pumpkins

Fall is upon us. I have been wanting to do a fun pumpkin DIY ever since those white pumpkins started making their way into Michael’s. I didn’t get a chance to in previous years because I was too busy walking in the leaves and sipping pumpkin lattes. This fall I found the time to carve out a few DIYs. Here is the first of many modern fall decor projects!

This was a fun DIY to make! I even let my little girl decorate her own with stickers while I did mine and she LOVED it!

Materials:

Cricut Maker
Silver Matte Adhesive Foil
Pumpkins
Americana Decor Satin Enamels (Dark Denim, Classic Black, and Pure White)

How Can I Decorate My Pumpkins?

Start by using your Americana Decor Satin Enamels to paint the pumpkins.

Next, sign into the Cricut Design Space. You can create your own designs, or you can cut some of the designs that I loaded into THIS CANVAS. If you want to use my designs, simply open this file and press “cut”.

I cut the patterns on Adhesive Foil – which is a material that I LOVE using.

My original plan was to transfer the patterns using Cricut Transfer Tape, but sadly the adhesive foil did not adhere to the transfer tape at all. So instead I just put the foil onto the pumpkins like stickers. I thought it would take forever but actually it was fairly quick!
