Adding climbing plants to your landscape creates great dimension, but keeping them from overtaking a garden requires a good trellis to climb.

1. Better sunlight exposure 2. Reduced fungal exposure 3. Increased air circulation 4. Creates more garden space

Benefits of a vine trellis

Scrap 2×2 boards     3 - 8ft long     17 - 3ft long      Wood Glue      Sander      Table Saw       Nail Gun       Black Wood Stain       Outdoor Varnish

Supplies Needed

Cut boards into 1/2 inch strips. 3 at 8 feet long and 17 at 3 feet long.

Attach the small cuts to the larger at the back. Make sure they are evenly spaced.

Cut the middle vertical wood piece, creating two trellis legs. Then, stain and finish with outdoor varnish.

I love how this turned out! The finished product looks great with the climbing vines.
